If you go on a Bus tour they bring you here, it is a lovely place, great for taking photo's, calm and peaceful location.
Why are the braces around the trees? To prevent animals from getting at the bark?

you said it a few times……..peaceful……that's what i loved about visiting this plantation. whoever designed the view points had great foresight, every one of them is brilliant for photos, the backdrops are fantastic. i only spent half a day there, but the flight up from Bangkok was worth it for this place alone! thank you for sharing your trip Graham and Pie 🙂

We've lived in Chiang Rai for just on two years and have never been aware of this plantation. Thank you for bringing all of these amazing places to our attention. Nice Graham, livin' the life this day, ay… Love real thai iced tea esp. cause it's so damn hot there much of the time. Been to the tea plantations/farms in the Cameron highlands/Malaysia. Never in Thailand. Thai tourism/Chaing Rai outta be paying you! ha. Pie looks like shes ready to pick! Maybe a nice tea plant for the pond?

Wonderful video, Maybe I missed it but were you a farmer in England? My grand dad was a farmer my dad a mechanic in NYC at general motors and I have been an artist for 40 years, but my best memories were of the farm on my grand dad place. Also does your wife and family have some interesting proverbs. My wife was explaining a story to me today and she said "that an egg cannot fight a rock" which makes it clears the rules of life- such as the proverb given.
